Demple Allen

Demple Lyle Allen, age 87 of Birmingham, AL passed away on March 7, 2015. She was born in Carrollton, GA and moved to Birmingham as a teenager. She graduated from Phillips High School. She spent over 50 years in the Roebuck area raising her family and spending time with friends. She has lived at Sunrise Ridge Assisted Living for the past three years. She is preceded in death by her brother, Doyle Lyle and her husband, William Franklin Allen, Sr. She is survived by her children, William Franklin Allen, Jr. and Tavie Allen Wingard (Bill); grandchildren, Amber Wingard Goode (Stephen) and Adam Ross Wingard (Angela); great grandchildren, Hayden Goode, Haley Goode, Brenlie Wingard, and Tanner Wingard. Services will be on Monday, March 9, 2015 at 10:00 AM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Rev. George Cobb will be officiating over the services. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
