Deborah Nash

Deborah “Debbie” F. Nash died from a stroke on Sunday, December 17, 2023 at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, AL with her brother Chris at her side. She was 70 years old. Debbie graduated from the University of Alabama with a Bachelor of Science in May 1974. Debbie worked for the United States Postal Service from 1995 until her death. She liked to read and do arts and crafts when time permitted. She cared more about other people than herself and gave to various organizations that helped others. She attended First Baptist Church of Chalkville. Debbie is survived by her brother Christopher Nash of Birmingham and was preceded in death by her parents James and Doris Nash.

Services will be held on December 29, 2023 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home and Gardens, 1591 Gadsden Highway, Birmingham, AL 35235. Visitation will be from 11:00 am until 12:00 pm with a memorial service at 12:00 pm. Interment will be at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made to the Springville Road Library.
