Dean Arthur Jones was born March 25, 1933 and walked into the presence of his Savior on September 28, 2020. Dean Jones was a member of Central Baptist Church and lifetime resident of Springville, Alabama. He is predeceased by his parents, Arthur and Era Jones and sister, Patty Sue Jones. He leaves behind his wife Julia M. Jones, two sons; Artie (Dianne) Jones and Dean Alan (Lauri) Jones, five grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren; April (Drew Mizell) Jones, Abri, Tristan, Granger, Annlee, Brent; Rick (Kim) Jones, Justin, Julia; Deandrea (Jonathan) Hayes, Jaden, James Dean, Forrest, Lily; Martin (Leslie) Jones, Renee, Rachel; Grant (Felicia) Jones, Hayden, Hudson. He also leaves behind a sister, Sally (Johnny) House and brother, Micky (Joyce) Jones, nieces, nephews, cousins and a multitude of friends. Dean Jones was known as a quiet man who loved fishing with his friends, his morning coffee times at the local Jacks and love for the University of Alabama Football. He enjoyed spending time with his family and taking care of his garden and farm. His wife and family will miss his laugh, smile and gentle spirit. But to all who knew him, he will be remembered as a Christian man who loved the Lord. Funeral services will be officiated by his nephew, Pastor Eric House, North End Baptist Church, Beaumont, TX and Pastor Dewey Corder, Central Baptist Church, Argo, AL at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Trussville, Alabama. Visitation will be from 1pm to 2pm on Thursday, October 1, immediately followed by life celebration services in the chapel and graveside prayers in Jefferson Memorial Gardens, Trussville, Alabama. Facial masks or coverings are required by Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home and State of Alabama Govenor, Kay Ivy.
