David Shadix

David R. Shadix, age 67, of Pell City, AL and former resident of Pinson and Cullman passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2015. David was a graduate of Banks High School and Jefferson State. He was a member of 1st Baptist Church of Pell City. David retired from Heritage Sales after 25 years of service. He was a hard worker who enjoyed Alabama football and spending time with his family, but especially his grandchildren. David is survived by his loving wife of 46 years, Mary "Crickett" Shadix; sons, Brett Shadix (Gail) and Clay Shadix (Erin); brother Jerry Shadix; grandchildren, Katie Grace and Brady James Shadix. Visitation will be held from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 pm at Jefferson memorial Funeral Home in Trussville on Tuesday, January 27th. Funeral will be at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, January 28th at Jefferson Memorial Chapel. Burial will immediately follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens. Brother Gary Fisher and Brother John Thweat are officiating. In lieu of flowers please send donations to the the building fund of 1st Baptist Church of Pell City.
