David Lawson

David L. Lawson, age 69, of Morris, passed away April 2, 2018. David enjoyed scuba diving, fishing, collecting rocks and doing anything outside. He was retired from Protective Life Insurance Company, a Mason in Pinson Lodge #495 and was a member of Liberty Baptist in Morris. He was preceded in death by his parents Herman and Mary Lawson, and his son Mark Lawson. Graveside services will be held on Friday, April 6, at 2pm with visitation from 1pm until service time. He is survived by his wife Sherrell Lawson, children Michael Lawson (Susan), Dawn Lawson (Lara), Jeff Smith (Michelle), Temujim Sim and Rebecca Solomon, sister Connie Blyth, 10 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren with one on the way, numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. In lieu of flowers make donations to the American Heart Association.
