David Bailey

On Wednesday December 8, 2021, David C. Bailey passed away at his home in Birmingham. He was born and raised in Cahaba Heights, AL. He served in Korea in the army. David had a dedicated work ethic who always believed that hard work always pays off. David taught his three children patience, compassion and determination to succeed in anything they pursued. He was a true family man, always putting family first. David was a loving husband, father and friend to all who knew him. He never met a stranger, always greeting everyone with a smile and a kind heart. He was a Christian with a huge heart who lived by The Golden Rule.

He was preceded in death by his four sisters and a brother. He is survived by his wife, Linda; their three children, Melissa, Michael (Marie), Michele; Four grandkids, Timothy, Mark, Matthew, Mason; many nieces, nephews, grand nieces and nephews, and countless cousins.

A funeral service will be held for December 20, 2021, 2:00pm at Jefferson Memorial Gardens, Trussville. The family will receive friends 1:00-2:00.
