Datha Cain

Datha Dean Cain, age 80, of Clay, passed away on January 2, 2016. She was a member of Clay Christian Fellowship Church and a member of the Red Hat Society. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great grandmother and will be dearly missed. Mrs. Cain was preceded in death by her husband, Pat Cain; and her parents, Elmer Banks (Betty) and Mary Cotney. She is survived by her children, Teresa Dean (William), Derrick Cain, Amelia Boyd, Beth Graham; her sister, Louise Henry; her brother, Billy Banks (Norma); her grandchildren Christy Duncan, Courtney Hallowell (Robert), Chasity McNeil, David Dean (Melissa), Sommer King (Skyler), Arielle Cain (Carmen), Austin Cain, Brandon Cain, Jance Voytanovsky (Leslie), Jessica Boykin (Trey); Wendy Jones (Jason), Dedra Isbell (Daniel), Anna Curtis (Reny), Barbara Tumm, 18 great grandchildren, and many other family members and friends. Funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 6, at 12pm, at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville. Interment will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. A visitation will begin one hour prior to the funeral service.
