Darin Voudrie

Darin Lee Voudrie graduated to Heaven and high fived his Lord and Savior, February 13, 2015. He was born in Birmingham, AL on September 2, 1972. Darin grew up in Forrestdale and graduated from Minor High School. Darin worked for Jefferson County Roads and Transportation for 19 years. He was a member of Northpark Baptist Church where he was very involved in the men's ministry. Darin has helped coach Springville Baseball for the Springville Youth Association for several years. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Darin was a hard working man who would do anything to help those in need. He loved his family and friends and walked in a beautiful relationship with the Lord. He was able to find the joy in life and bring it out in others. Darin is preceded in death by his Mother and Grandmother, Carolyn Kay Howell and Mildred Howell; He is survived by his wife Jeanna Voudrie and their four children Hadley, Toxey, Kasen, and Easton as well as his mother and father-in-law, Carlene and Jerry Bratton. Darin is also survived by his Aunt Cindy Howell, Uncle Mike Howell, brother Mason Voudrie, "Second" family George and Mary Wulf and George Wulf, Jr., Tammy Wolfe. He will also be missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends. The family will receive visitors at Northpark Baptist Church beginning at 12:00 PM. Funeral Service will be Tuesday, February 17, 2015, at 2 PM at Northpark officiated by Pastor Bill Wilkes. Interment will be at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville, AL. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the family at any eCO Credit Union.
