Daniel Hill

Mr. Daniel Arthur Hill, 82, of Springville, passed away on April 24, 2017. He retired from Stockham Valve and Fittings as a Chemical Technician after 37 years of service. He graduated from Woodland High School, attended Howard College and UAB, and was a Deacon at Deerfoot Baptist Church. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Kimberly Hill Huguley, and parents, Arthur and Helen Hill. He is survived by his wife, Margie McKee Hill, daughter, Kelly Hill Archer (Gary), son, Steven Arthur Hill, son-in-law, Ronny Huguley, love-in-law, Cindy Huguley, grandchildren, Stephanie Hill Koen (Thomas), Chris Hill (Jamie), Danielle Huguley Carter (Garrett), Wood Huguley , and Hannah Huguley, great-grandchildren, Rex Koen, Bailey Carter, and Sullivan Koen, sister, Sybil Hill McGowin, and brothers, Jack Hill (Judy), Nick Hill (Olga), and Ronnie Hill (Linda). A visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm at Deerfoot Baptist Church. The funeral service will at 2:00 pm from the church sanctuary with Tom McPherson officiating. Interment will immediately follow at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville.
