Daniel Allen

Daniel Lee Allen “Danny”, age 66, of Pinson, passed away May 15, 2018 in an unfortunate car accident. Danny was born on September 4, 1951 in Springfield, TN. He was employed at Bell South for 49 years. Danny graduated in 1969 from EB Erwin High School and 1971 from RET Electronic Institute in Birmingham, AL. He was preceded in death by his loving parents Mayola and Arthur Allen Jr., grandparents were Elizabeth and Jewell Taylor of TN; Thula and Arthur Allen Sr. from Talladega. Graveside services will be held on Wednesday, May 23 at Noon at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East with visitation from 10am until service time. He is survived by his sisters Donna Howard (Jimmy), and Julia Hogan (Joe), brothers Mike Allen (Jeannie), and John Allen, one niece April Wright (Bobby), two nephews Jason Allen (Amanda), Blake Allen, one great niece LInlee Wright, several great nephews: Rob Wright, Isaac Allen, Sam Allen, Drew Allen, and Josh Allen, also several aunts, cousins and loving friends.
