Currie D Cooper of Roebuck passed away March 15, 2016 at the age of 63. Preceded in death by his sister Cindy Ann Cooper and his grandmother Rosa A Brooks. Currie leaves to cherish his memory mother Clara B Cooper, sister Genny C (Art) Nalley, daughters Candice Blake and Christy Cromwell and "self adopted" best friends Frank Stroud, Zula Hill, Judy Clama and Frank Esslinger that he considered family.Currie had a love for music all of his life. His drum practicing at home drove his sisters crazy however never stopped him from becoming an accomplished drummer and singer in the band Time Machine during the late 60's and 70's.Formerly employed by Vinyard Electric and Trinity Contractors.Visitation will be Friday March 18 at 1 PM Jefferson Memorial Garden Funeral Home. Graveside service will follow at 2 PM from Jefferson Memorial Garden Cemetery in Trussville, AL.
