Coyett Boykin

Coyett J. Boykin, Jr., age 64, passed away on March 17, 2013. He was born and raised in Birmingham, AL. He attended Minor High School and The University of Alabama at Birmingham. He retired from Vulcan Materials after 24 years. He was always full of life and ready for the next motorcycle adventure. He is preceded in death by his parents, Coyett, Sr. and Hazel Boykin; his siblings Joyce Williams, Carmen Stewart and Dennis Boykin. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Marsha; his daughter Jennifer Boykin Bryan (Eric), son Trey (Jessica) and step-granddaughter, Ansley. A memorial service will be held March 21 at 6:00 p.m. at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. Immediately following, family and friends are invited to join in a reception and celebration of life at Sips n Strokes at 1873 Gadsden Hwy. In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to the American Diabetes Association or the American Heart Association.
