Cora Needham

Mrs. Cora "Lizzy" Needham, 90, pioneer of Trussville passed away on June 26, 2016. She was born on January 26, 1926 to the late Joseph and Mabel McGowan. She is preceded in death by her husband, Clintus Needham, her parents, 2 daughters, 1 son, 1 grandchild, 3 sisters, 2 brothers, and 2 great-grandchildren. She is survived by her daughters, Edna and Debra, sons, Earnest, Joe, Troy, and Dewey, sister, Marie Osborn, brother, Julius McGowan, 19 grandchildren, 43 great-grandchildren, and 2 great great-grandchildren. A visitation will be held on June 28, 2016 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held on June 29, 2016 at 2:00pm with a one hour visitation prior to the service at funeral home. Interment will immediately follow the service at Jefferson Memorial Gardens with Reverend Tim Headley officiating. Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
