Condred C. Roberts, Sr., was born on November 25, 1924 in Joppa, AL. He was an army veteran from WWII and was awarded a purple heart. He graduated from Auburn University in 1952. He worked for (and retired from) US Steel for 28 years. He was transferred to Pittsburgh (by US Steel) in 1965 where he lived for 33 years. He taught Dale Carnegie courses for 4 years after retirement. He moved back to Trussville, AL in 1998. He was a member of Ingomar Methodist Church in Pittsburgh and Trussville United Methodist Church in Trussville. He was preceded in death by his daughter. Services will be held on Saturday, Jan. 17, at 2pm in the Chapel with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens Trussville. Visitation will be from 1pm until 2pm Saturday. He is survived by his wife Frances Roberts, and 4 children, a daughter Sarah Elizabeth Johnston (Montgomery, AL), 3 sons Condred Curtis Jr (Houston, TX), Charles F. (Orlando, FL) and Donald E. (Merritt Island, FL), 2 sisters, a brother, 5 grandchildren and many extended family and friends. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
