Clyde Rogers

May 5, 1921 - Jan. 12, 2016 Dr. Clyde C. Rogers went to be with the Lord on January 12, 2016. His Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 11:00 A.M. at First Baptist Church, Tarrant. He is the son of Clyde C. Rogers, Sr. and Lena Hinton Rogers. He is survived by his wife, Sara C. Rogers and son, Mitch Rogers (Janie), daughter Marcia Hennesy (Charles), and step daughters, Natalie Cleckler (Steve), Lynn Murphree (David), and Cindy Webb (Jack), Grandchildren, Luke (Sally) Jesse, Jason (Misty), Allison (Craig), Eron (Jason), Ethan and Holly Webb and many Great Grandchildren. He was blessed in life with 4 sisters and many nieces and nephews. He was in active ministry for over 70 years with service in Alabama, Louisiana, Tennessee, and Mississippi. At the time of his heavenly homegoing, he was teaching in his church at First Baptist, Tarrant. And preaching as the Lord lead. His presence in life will be greatly missed by all who knew him but his home in heaven is filled with much joy, love, and laughter.
