Clifton Thompson

Clifton G. Thompson, age 75, of Trussville passed away on Jan. 25, 2024. Clifton was a very proud U.S. Army veteran. He was preceded in death by his wife of 50 years Kathryn Thompson, brother Vernon Thompson and his parents Vernon and Bernadette Thompson. Mr. Thompson was an avid sports fan of baseball, basketball and football. He also loved to fish.

Clifton is survived by his two sons, Cliff (Shellie) Thompson and Tim (Laura) Thompson; seven grandchildren, Kristine (DJ) Lackey, Alec Thompson, Savanah Thompson, John O'Brien, Cheyenne O'Brien, Erin Thompson and Ryan Thompson; two great-grandchidren, Lincoln Lackey and Ophelia Moon Thompson, sisters, Arlite Edlund and Martha (Rich) Blanck; brother, Walter (Nancy) Thompson.

Mr. Thompson was a very loving husband, father, grandfather, father-in-law and great-grandfather. Family always came first with our dad. We love you and we will always miss you!
