Clifton Bagby

Clifton G. Bagby, age 89, of Moody, Alabama passed away on November 19, 2016. He was a U.S. Army Veteran who served in WWII in Germany. He was retired from the U.S. Post Office and was a caregiver for many years for his beloved wife. He was preceded in death by his wife Margarett, his son James D. Bagby, his parents Henry G. Bagby and Beulah B. Bagby, and his brother Robert Bagby. He is survived by his sons, Clifton G. Bagby Jr. (Mary), and John H. Bagby (Rebecca), his daughter Denise B. Thackerson (Benny), his sister Iris Watson, his sister-in-law Kate Bagby, his aunt Grace Plan, his grandson John Allen Bagby, his granddaughters Brooke Thackerson Sharkey (David), Lauren Thackerson, Megan Bagby Mathews (Winn), Danner R. Bagby, Elizabeth Bagby Hiatt (Dan), and Andrea Bagby, his great grandsons Joshua Hiatt and Charles David Sharkey along with 1 niece and 4 nephews. Visitation services will be held Wednesday Nov. 23 at 10:30 am at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville, Alabama followed by a graveside service at 11:30 am. He will be greatly missed by all.
