Clarence George Sutton (C.G.), 89, of Birmingham passed away on March 17, 2012, after a brief illness. His work career included Production Superintendent of McGough Bakery and Bakery Manager of Pasquale Foods. After retirement, he became an avid fisherman and camper at Lake Guntersville State Park where he enjoyed spending time with his children and grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife of 53 years, Evelyn Phelps Sutton, and oldest son, George Ronald Sutton. Mr. Sutton is survived by three sons and seven grandchildren: Jimmy Ray Sutton of Birmingham, Laura and Trevor; Paul Sutton of Trussville (Melissa), Jacob, Jan and Jill; and Phil Sutton of Houston, TX (Lisa), Brad and Brian. Visitation will be at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville from 5:30 until 7:30 Monday evening, March 19. Graveside service will be Tuesday, March 20, at 11:00AM at Taylor Memorial United Methodist Church Cemetery.
