Cindy Sanford

Cindy Counts Sanford, age 61 of Tarrant, AL passed away on October 31, 2015 in Birmingham, AL. Cindy was born on June 28, 1954 to Virginia and Culton Counts. She grew up in Tarrant and moved to South Florida for 10 years before moving back home. She was a beloved wife, mother, sister and daughter to her family and will be truly missed by all her friends from old time Tarrant. She was preceded in death by her grandparents and her father, Vernon Culton Counts and father-in-law, Elton C. Sanford. She leaves behind her husband of 42 years, John Ronald Sanford; daughter, Amy Cheree Sanford; mother, Virginia Counts; brother, Roderick V. Counts (Sharon); sisters, Sherry Levan (Ronald) and Leslie Dawn Tatum (Larry); 3 nephews and 4 nieces and a multitude of other family and friends. Services will be on Friday, November 6, 2015 at 10 AM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour prior to services. The burial will be at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Tim Shoemaker will be officiating over the services. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Caring Voice Foundation. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
