Christopher Tucker

Christopher Mark Tucker (Chris/Cree) of Trussville, AL passed away on May 23, 2020 at the age of 28. Chris is preceded in death by his grandparents: Malcolm Massey Runyan Jr., Linda Faye Runyan, and Grady Charles Tucker (all of Springville). Chris is survived by his parents Dana and Cindy Tucker, his love of 4 years Emily Lowery, his beloved dog-child Rocky, sister Christy Leslie (Clint), brother Daniel Tucker (Raven), nieces: Hailey, Aubrey, Elyza, nephews: Zac, Nate, Logan, grandmother Ealeene Tucker, a large loving family, and a huge amount of friends he always considered his family. Chris graduated from Hewitt Trussville High School in 2011 where he won multiple awards in Cross Country and Wrestling. He was a four year letterman in both disciplines and a two-time state placer in Wrestling. He then furthered his education at Shelton State. Chris enjoyed the outdoors, kayaking, playing with Rocky, eating at new restaurants, breweries, New Orleans, and the beach. Chris expressed the desire to be an organ donor since he was a very young boy, and he made that desire a reality. In lieu of flowers, please consider donating to Legacy of Hope (legacyofhope.org) for the education of organ and tissue donation. Chris desired to be cremated. There is no service scheduled at the moment, but the family will contact everyone when they are having a “Celebration of Cree”.
