Christopher Clay Thompson, 49, of Trussville, flew into the arms of Jesus on March 24, 2020. He attended Lawson State Community College where he excelled in the HVAC program and was named Student of the Year. He started his own company, Premier Air, LLC. He had a huge heart and often would offer his services to those who could not afford to pay. He had a soft spot for the less fortunate, elderly, and animals, including his favorite furry friend, Sylvester, who he rescued. He had a colorful personality and the gift of gab. He loved AL football, and watching him root for the team was more entertaining than the game itself! He is loved and forever will be missed. The world is not the same without him! Survived by his father, J.D. Thompson; brother, Mike Thompson, and was preceded in death by his beloved mother, Elizabeth Thompson. He was laid to rest at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
