Christopher Anthony Klask

July 18, 1969-June 23, 2014

age 44, of Center Point passed away on June 23, 2014 after a brave fight with a lengthy illness. Chris was born on July 18, 1969 in Birmingham. He was a graduate of Cathedral Christian High School and had worked for Verizon Wireless. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Herman J. Zann, Sr., Jack J. Klask, Frances G. Klask "Chic". He is survived by his parents, Jack and Patricia Klask; brother, Patrick Klask; grandmother, Adele "GG" Zann numerous aunts, uncles and cousins; a very special aunt, Joyce Zann Cooper who remained by his side throughout his illness; and his dachshund, Rusty. Chris was always full of life and personality, and kept everyone on their toes with his humor. He will always be remembered for his ability to solve just about any problem with a phone call, his love of new cars, quick wit, and most of all his generous heart. Visitation will be held on June 25, 2014 from 11am-1pm at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church service will immediately follow. Burial at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Jefferson Memorial in Trussville is directing.
