Christine Watson

Christine Georgia Watson, age 81 of Odenville, AL, formally of Tarrant, went to be with the Lord on September 27 at home surrounded by her family. She was born September 13, 1932 in Oneonta, AL. Christine was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dalton Cecil Watson. Survivors include her sister, Maggie Horsley; daughters, Shirley (Rickey) Odgers, Brenda (Al) Ryan, Teresa (Jerry) McAlpine; 6 grandchildren, Kristie (Allen) Henderson, Jan (Jerry) Reynolds, Jeremy (Wendy) McAlpine, Kyle (Deana) Odgers, Casie ( Jeff) McAnnally, Eric McAlpine; 13 great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews who will surely miss her along with her furry companion, Gracie, that was by her side to the very end. Visitation will be Sunday, September 29 from 4-6:00 PM at Jefferson memorial Funeral Home. The service will be Monday at 12:00 noon with Pastor Leslie Upton officiating followed by the burial at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
