Christine Tyner

Christine Handley Tyner, age 74 of Trussville, passed away on December 28, 2011. She was retired from Woodlawn High School where she worked in the library. She was a member of the First Baptist Church Trussville. Christ and her family were at the center of her life. She was preceded in death by her husband Roy Dale Tyner, son Ronald Scott Tyner, brother Paul Handley and sister Martie Handley Thacker. Services will be held on Saturday, December 31 at 10am at First Baptist Church of Trussville with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be 1 hour prior to services at the church. She is survived by sons Randall Lynn (Donna) Tyner, Jeffrey Lee (Colleen) Tyner, sister Wilma Handley Creel, brother Loyal Handley and grandchildren Crystal, Scott, Jordan, Andrew, Stephen and Sarah. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Men on Mission at First Baptist Church of Trussville.
