Christine Hopkins Jones, of Mobile, AL passed away on Wednesday. October 23, 2013. Christine was a member of the Eastern Star, Toulmin chapter #455. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Christine was preceded in death by her father, Asa Hopkins; mother. Della Daugherty; one brother, Asa Hopkins, Jr.; one sister, Virginia Hopkins Cates. She is survived by her husband, Gene Jones; brother, Bill Hopkins; daughters, Diana Tidd Seale and Paula Tidd Bounds (Sidney); stepdaughters. Melisa Jones Woodard (Mike) and Tammy Jones Brown (Mitch); and one step-son, Allen Jones; grandchildren: R. David Seale (Camille), Lauren Seale Taylor (Ronnie), Michael Paul Seale (Robin), Timothy Allen Seale (Amy), Andrew wade Seale (Stephanie), Mathew Kevin Bounds (Wanda), Joy Bounds Adams ( Bryan), Free Echols, Amber Echols, Stephanie Woodard, James Jones, Caley Brown, Zakk Pishna, and Lucas Brown; thirteen great grandchildren. Her step-son and grandsons will honor her by serving as pallbearers. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 27, 2013 from 5pm-7pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral home. Funeral Services will be at 12:00 noon on Monday, October 28, 2013 at Jefferson Memorial Funeral home chapel. Burial will immediately follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East in Trussville.
