Christine Farris

Christine Reano Farris, age 89, of Adamsville, died Monday, Sept 15, 2014. Preceded in death by her father and mother Victor E. Reano and Augusta Doubleman Reano. Two grandsons Brian K. Weston and Ricky J. Morris, one sister Clara Alice Snow. Mrs. Farris was born in Republic, AL. Her husband was Delbert L. Farris that passed away in 1978. She was a member of Forestdale Baptist Church. Mrs. Farris was the dietician at Kindercare in Forestdale for 21years. She started working there at age 53 and retired at age 74. She always worked hard at anything that was put before her. She loved what she did with all her heart. Chapel services will be held on Wednesday, Sept 17, at 11am with burial in Midway Cemetery in Adamsville. Visitation will be from 10am until 11am Wednesday. Mrs. Farris is survived by her 3 daughters Dale M. Meisner, Carolyn A. Morris (Jim), Reida M. Weston (Randy), four grandchildren Kitty J. Parker (Jay), Rhonda M. Oliver (Barry), Rodney J. Morris (Heather), Jason S. Weston (Brandi), four great grandchildren Cody Oliver, Kayla Oliver, Hadley Morris, Kiley Weston, one twin sister Ernestine Reano Bonds, 5 nephews, a host of great nephews and nieces and other family members. The family would like to express their great appreciation to all the nurses, aids, and staff at The Village at Cook Springs in caring for Mrs. Farris. It was their love and caring that helped Mrs. Farris get thru her final years here on earth. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
