Charles Thompson

Charles Robert "Chuck" Thompson, age 75 of Center Point, AL passed away on October 29, 2013. A graduate of West End High School, Chuck also attended Auburn University. He is a veteran on the U.S. National Guard. Chuck worked for Rust Engineering for 35 years and was employed with KBR Global Engineering Construction and Services Company. A proud Papa and avid Auburn fan, Chuck was preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Gladys Thompson. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Barbara Thompson; daughter, Dean Thompson Ray (Lance); Rick Thompson (Dawn); grandchildren, Brandon, Blake, Sydney, Tyler, Cole, and Kaylie; sister, Judy Thompson McCullers (Larry); and brother, Freddy Thompson (Bobbie). Services will be held on Friday, November 1, 2013 at 12pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with visitation held one hour prior. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
