Charles Schuelly

Charles Louis Schuelly, age 73, passed away at his home surrounded by his loved ones. Chuck was a part of the Boy Scouts of America for over 25 years. He also taught carpentry for many years. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jacob Schuelly and Charlotte Gordon; brother, Chris Gordon. He is survived by his wife, Mary Storey Schuelly; daughters, Melody Baker (Shawn), Charisse Butler (Matt); son, Jay Schuelly (Mary Judith); sister, Charlene Collins; brother, Bill Schuelly (Cathy); grandchildren, Samantha, Caroline, Charlie, Cody, and Annabelle. A celebration of his life will be held Saturday May 19, 2018 at North Shelby Baptist Church with visitation at 1 pm, memorial service at 2 pm with an ice cream social to follow. Pastor Allan Murphy will be presiding. Honorary Pallbearers will be Boy Scout Troop 351 and Troop 372 alongside of Children’s Worship of North Shelby Baptist Church. Because his mission work was so important to him, the family ask that In lieu of flowers to please send donations to North Shelby Baptist Church Mission Fund. Interment will be held at Alabama National Cemetery.
