Charles Owens

Charles Edward Owens, age 84 of Pell City, AL passed away on December 5, 2016. He was ministered by Arbor Baptist Church. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and he owned C and R Laundry Service for 35 years. He is preceded in death by his son, Ricky Owens and brother and sister, Cupidean Owens Plant (Malcolm) and Rex Owens. He is survived by his daughters, Sherrie Tart (Haywood), Lisa Tabor and Jan Johnson; sister, Maerene Wise; grandchildren, Haywood Tart, II, Tara Lee (Jonathan), Jessica Spratling (Andre), Katlyn Tabor (Joseph), Brittany Johnson, Mandy Talley (Caleb), Amber Pope (Josh), Ricky Charles Owens and Daniel Matthew Owens; 12 great grandchildren. Services will be on Thursday, December 8, 2016 at 12 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Visitation will be an hour prior to services. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Charles Dial will be officiating over the services. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
