Charles Holderfield

Holderfield, Charles Marvin – Age 90, went to be with Jesus May 24, 2021 at his home in Irondale, Alabama surrounded by his loving family. Charles is survived by his two sons, James Marvin Holderfield (Sue) and Harold Ray Holderfield (Teena); five grandchildren, Michelle Denard (Jon) Brian Holderfield (Julie) Mandy Holderfield, Brandy Hyatt (Eric), Chuck Holderfield (Whitney), and eight great-grandchildren. Charles loved fishing and hunting, he was active with these sports along with his family and friends as long as he was able to. He was a special and caring man and most of his friends called him Paw Paw. He worked many years at Sumiton Machine in Sumiton, Alabama and he retired from there.

Charles was preceded in death by his loving wife, Wynell Ryland Holderfield, his parents, Thomas Holderfield and Emma Williams Holderfield, brother, Tommy Holderfield, and sisters Mary Ruth Daniels and Mildred Clendenin,

Reverend Dewey Wilhite will be officiating the service, and special speaker – grandson, Brian Holderfield. Pallbearers are Jon Denard, Warren Westerhouse, Brian Holderfield, Chuck Holderfield, Steve Newton and Eric Hyatt.

Funeral Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Jefferson Memorial Chapel in Trussville with burial immediately following at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville.
