Charles Maffet

Charles T. “Papa” Maffet, 87, of Center Point passed away on June 21, 2018. Charles went to Tarrant High School. He was a Mason and U.S. Navy veteran. He was a member of Church of Christ in Tarrant. He was a loving father, grandfather and great grandfather. Charles was preceded in death by his loving wife of 58 years, Margaret and his parents, Frank and Veda Maffet. He is survived by his daughter, Charla Carden (Jimmy); his two granddaughters, Casi Selph (Jonathan) and Cori Cline (Robby); his three great grandchildren, Chace, Levi and Maggie. A funeral service for Charles will take place at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday, June 26th at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. The Burial will immediately follow the chapel service at Jefferson Memorial’s adjoining gardens. Brother Dewey Corder and Brother Joel Carden will preside over the service.
