Charles Kelley

Charles A. Kelley, age 80, of Birmingham, passed away August 17, 2009. He was a member of Canterbury United Methodist Church and was a Korean War Veteran. He was retired from Southern Research Institute where he actively volunteered in the Credit Union. He was preceded in death by his wife Joan H. Kelley, son Kevin Charles Kelley and his wife Laura. Graveside services will be Wednesday Aug 26, at 11am with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be from 10am until 11am Wednesday. He is survived by his daughter, Karen Kelley (James Michael) Burgess, son, Michael Sean (Debbie) Kelley, sisters, Phyllis Freas and Janet Gority; brother Don Kelley, grandchildren Kevin Matthew Kelley, Kelley M. Burgess, Heather N. Burgess, Blake Wasylow, Megan Kelley, great grandchildren Katie and Kylie.
