Charles Campbell

Charles Louis Campbell, Jr. age 92, passed away on January 19, 2022. He loved Christ, his family, and the Church. He retired from Southern Company after 30 years and had a short stint with Daniel Ornamental Iron. He was a founding member of Eastside Baptist Church, Roebuck Park Baptist, FBC of Trussville, and finally Briarwood Presbyterian. He was preceded by his wife, Betty Wilbanks Campbell and his granddaughter, Trevelyn Grace Campbell. He is survived by his children, Laura Junkins (Robbie), Clay Campbell (Penny); his grandchildren, Brett Hancock, Ali Varden (Evan), Charlie Campbell; his sister, Sue Campbell Gray; and many nieces, nephews, and other family members. A graveside service will be held on Tuesday, January 25 at 12PM at Jefferson Memorial Gardens in Trussville. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to the Trevelyn Campbell Memorial Art Scholarship at Samford University.
