Charldean Mann

Charldean (Penny) Bowers Mann, age 83, of Trussville, formerly of Tarrant, passed away on September 4, 2020. She was born on November 22, 1936. She was a faithful member of Mt. Calvary Baptist Church in Tarrant, AL. She and her husband would have celebrated their 62nd wedding anniversary on September 5, 2020. She was preceded in death by her parents, H.L. and Willadean Bowers; her sister, Mary Jane Allred. She is survived by her husband, W. R. Mann; daughter, Karen Ryan (Mark), of Trussville, AL; son, Kerry Mann, of Pinson, AL; and granddaughter, Alyssa Ryan, of Pinson, AL. She is also survived by her sisters, Patsy Smith (Hugh), Barbara Rachels (Wayne), and Martha Bowers; her brothers, Lloyd Bowers (Carolyn), Sam Bowers (Connie), Argo Bowers, Mark Bowers (Barbara), and Richard Bowers (Kathy). Pallbearers will be Randall Smith, Danny Bowers, Greg Bowers, Jon Bowers, Ben Bowers, and Ty Sisson. Funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 10, 2020 at 2pm at Jefferson Memorial in Trussville, officiated by Bro. Roy Spears. A visitation will begin one hour prior to the funeral service. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Mt. Calvary Baptist Church , 2125 Hill Drive, Tarrant, AL 35217.
