Cecil Robinson

Cecil Allen Robinson, age 78, of Harvest/Madison, AL, passed away April 21, 2013. Cecil was a member of the Warblers Club and played football at Woodlawn High School and Copiah-Lincoln Jr. College. Later he was a member of Phi Kappa Tau Fraternity at Auburn University. Cecil enlisted in the Marines and served from 1954 to late 1955 and was in the reserves until 1962 earning the National Defense Service Medal. He enjoyed NASCAR, motor boats, and especially Auburn Football. Cecil was the Southeastern Regional Sales Manager with Ingersoll-Rand and Dresser Industries. He was preceded in death by his wife Della Ann Tidwell Robinson, parents Luther and Eudoxie Robinson, brother James Robinson and sister Mildred Robinson. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 27, at 2pm in the Chapel with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be one hour prior to services. He is survived by his son Hal Robinson, sister Jewell Burson, numerous nieces and nephews. Memorials may be made to The American Alzheimer's Association, 1-800-272-3900.
