Cathy Crumley

Cathy Jones Crumley, age 66 of Birmingham, AL passed away on August 19, 2021. She retired from Jefferson County after 43 years and ten months of service. She started her career on her 18th birthday with the county at Cooper Green Hospital. She is preceded in death by her parents, Howard and Thelma Jones and her brother, Bruce “Goober” Jones. She is survived by her son, Eddie Crumley (Janet) and daughter, Cathleen Thackston (Blake); grandchildren, Brianna, Sam and grandson due on December 20th.; sister, Barbara Coston (Buddy); brother, Casey Jones; several nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Two by Two Rescue in memory of Cathy Crumley.
