Catherine Linn

Catherine "Missie" Linn, age 82 of Trussville, Alabama, passed away November 22, 2017. She was born on June 3, 1935 in Chicago, Illinois. She graduated from John Carroll High School and worked as the bookkeeper for St. Barnabas, John Carroll High School and Hewitt Trussville Middle School. She was a member of St. Barnabas and Holy Infant of Prague Catholic Church and a life-long member of the Ladies Altar Sodality. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She is survived by her husband of 63 years, Richard Wallace Linn; her children, Donna Essig (Ernie), Carol Bonham, Kathleen Goodwin and her grandchildren, Emily Adkins, Jennifer Smith, Jesika Cater, Brandon Verwyst and Katelyn Goodwin and six great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, Catherine and John William Gallaher, Sr., siblings, John Gallagher, Jr. and Richard Powell and her son, Richard Linn. Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 27, 2017 at Holy Infant of Prague Catholic Church. Visitation will be from 10 AM to 11 AM with a Mass to follow.
