Carolyn Smith

Carolyn Hall Smith, age 61, of Trussville, AL passed away on August 9, 2011. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Trussville. Carolyn was a loving, and devoted wife and mother. Carolyn was also a talented and creative hobbyist; enjoying crocheting, ceramics and tole painting. She is preceded in death by her parents, Gene and Maurine Hall of Iuka, MS. She is survived by her loving husband of 43 years, Merle Smith; son, John Smith (Tricia) of Trussville, AL; daughter, Amy Nicastro (Chris) of Odenville, AL; sister, Cathy Presley (Hugh) of Iuka, MS; grandchildren, Patrick and Reagan Smith, and Peyton Nicastro. Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 11, 2011 from 5-7PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be held on Friday, August 12, 2011 at 10:00AM at Jefferson Memorial Chapel. Burial will follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Rev. James Long and Rev. Bobby Erwin will be officiating. Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association.
