Carolyn Pritchett

Carolyn Cox Pritchett, age 77 of Springville passed away on September 29, 2018. She was born in Autauga County, Alabama and grew up in Chilton County, Alabama. She was crowned Miss Chilton County Peach Queen in 1955. Mrs. Pritchett was very active in a variety of sports, such as, basketball, softball, volleyball and racquetball. She was preceded in death by her granddaughter, Violet Allison. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Jerome Pritchett; her daughter Karen Allison and husband, William and their daughter, Bonny Allison; her son, Duane Pritchett and his wife, Nancy and their eight children, Jessica, Rachel, Erin, Emily, Ryan, Jamie, Sarah, and Michael Pritchett; her son Roger Pritchett and his wife, Meredith and their four children, Tully, Reston, Fulton, and Gunnar Pritchett; she is also survived by her mother-in-law Johnnie Mae Holdcroft. A memorial service for Mrs. Pritchett will be held at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home chapel on Saturday, October 13, 2018 at 2:00pm. A visitation will immediately follow from 3:00pm to 4:00pm.
