Carolyn Nappier

Carolyn “Ruth” Eberhart Nappier, age 90 born August 29, 1927 of Fort Payne, AL went home to be with her heavenly Father on April 3, 2018. Ruth was preceded in death by her parents, William “Doc” and Mable Eberhart; Husband, Leo V. Nappier; sister, Mary Morgan; sister-in-law, Bernice Eberhart; grandson, Daniel Nappier; nephew, Mike Eberhart.
Ruth is survived by her three sons, Larry (Becky) Nappier, Roger (Reba) Nappier and David (Gale) Nappier; brothers, Hugh Eberhart, Charles (Gene) Eberhart and Harold (Sara) Eberhart; brother-in-law, Howard Morgan; six grandchildren, Jeremy Nappier, Wendy Nappier,
Amy Lockhart, Lacy (Jacob) Thomas, Jason (Nina) Nappier and Jessie Nappier (Jonathan); six great-grandchildren, numerous nephews, and nieces. Even though most of Ruth's long-time friends have preceded her in death, she never met a stranger and leaves behind a host of friends. Her everlasting faith in God carried her thru her 90+ years and never wavered. The family wishes to thank her many caregivers and hospice, for their care. Memorial services will be held on Sunday, April 8, at 3pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home, Trussville, AL. Visitation from 2pm to 3pm Sunday.
