Carolyn Godsey

Carolyn E. Godsey passed away September 30, 2021. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack N. Godsey. She is survived by her two daughters, Charla Ferguson (widowed, Ronald Ferguson), Lori Lawler (spouse, David Lawler) grandson, Matthew Ferguson (spouse, Amanda Ferguson) two great grandsons, Owen and Beck Ferguson and a nephew, Randy Watson. Carolyn was a long-time member of Eastside Baptist Church, where she was active in church outreach programs in her work in the church kitchen and to aid the homeless and less fortunate. She enjoyed her bible studies, choir and working with counting committee. She enjoyed gardening, plants, birds and nature. Her service will be attended by her immediate family. In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Cancer Research facilities in her memory.
