Carolyn Franks

Mrs. Carolyn Franks, 75, passed away on August 23, 2016. She was born on October 5, 1940 to the late Oscar and Wilma Stephens. She was a medical administrator for over 20 years and a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents and sons, John Scott Franks and William Stacy Franks. She is survived by her husband of 57 years, William Howard Franks, son, Stephen Howard Franks, grandchildren, Randi Franks Shannon, Stephen Dylan Franks, William Tyler Franks, and John Blake Franks, and great-grandchildren, Zoey and Myles. A visitation will be held on Saturday, August 27, 2016 from 9:00 am to 10:00 am at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville. The funeral service will begin at 10:00 am from the funeral home chapel. Interment will immediately follow the service at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East with Dr. Ric Camp officiating. Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
