Carol Wade

Carol Anita Armstrong Wade, age 80, of Springville, AL passed away on Thursday, July 9, 2015. Carol graduated from Phillips High School in Birmingham, AL. She retired from Pemco Aeroplex after over 30 years of service as Tool Crib Attendant. She once held office as the Treasurer of the UAW. She attended Church of the Highlands. Carol had a wonderful sense of humor, enjoyed holidays & spending time with family; she was generous with her time & love. She was preceded in death by her sister, Johnnie Sue Hardin. Carol is survived by her loving daughters, Carol Silvers (Alan), Cheryl Goldstein (Steve), Dawn Gilbreath (Glenn) & Anita Wheatley (Brent); sister, Kaye Conwell & brother, Jim Phillips; grandchildren: Anthony, Adam, Shafawnia & Derinda Silvers, Jeremiah & Jennifer Rastegar, Amelia & Alanna Gilbreath, Daphne, Meagan & Geoffrey Eggleton; four great grandchildren & numerous nieces & nephews & her dear friend, Barbara Woods. Funeral will be at Jefferson Memorial Chapel in Trussville on Sunday, July 12th at 2:00 p.m. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service and burial will immediately follow the chapel service at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East in Trussville. Pastor John Larson is officiating.
