Mrs. Fonville passed away on Monday, June 17, 2024 at Birmingham Nursing & Rehab. She was born in Decatur, IL to Connie Bell and Timothy Fonville. Ever since she was young, she loved helping people. From being a candy-striper at the age of 16 to getting her CNA license then her LPN and finally becoming an RN. Mrs. Fonville graduated from Millkin University where she received her Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing. She loved to travel any chance she got, was big on education, very caring and loved to give back to her community. She loved music and to dance and was a social butterfly from motorcycle clubs to being a member of the Sorority Sigma Gamma Rho, and an active church member. She had a big heart, willing to help and teach anyone who would listen. The biggest joy of her life was her only grandchild. She loved her children and would do anything for them. She was very adventurous, brave, full of life and will be greatly missed.
