Carlton Brooks

Carlton Brooks, age 85, of Tarrant passed away July 3, 2012 at South Haven Health and Rehab. He served as a member of the SeaBees in World War II and was a retired from ACIPCO as a machinist. For 16 years he served as pastor of Airport Hills Methodist Church, and was a member of Rock United Methodist Church. Mr. Brooks was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Etta Jane Brooks as well as sisters Maxine and Marion. He is survived by his wife, Jeanette Brooks; daughters, Carla Williamson (Lynn) and Sandie Savage (Jerry); son, Kent Brooks; brother, Ralph Brooks (Janie); grandchildren, Kristi Barber, Brent Williamson, Jordan Brooks, Colton Brooks, Austin Brooks, Molly Morgan Brooks, Mary Ashley Jayne and Bethany Jayne; great grandchildren Abbie Grace Barber and Andrew Barber as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral Service will be Friday at 12:00 in the chapel with the Rev. Patrick Turner officiating. Visitation will be held from 11 until 12 with burial following in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
