Carlos White

Carlos V. "C.V." White age 83, of Springville, AL passed away on, Wednesday, March 5, 2014. Carlos was a native of, Decatur, AL and later became a resident of Birmingham, AL before residing in Springville. He was honorably discharged from the U.S. Navy after 4 years of service. He was employed by Hayes Aircraft for nine years after moving to Birmingham, and he retired from Maxx-Transit after 30 years of service as a Road Supervisor. He was a mason for 50+ years and a past master of Eastlake Lodge #480. Carlos is preceded in death by his son, Audie V. White. Carlos is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Mildred Childers White; one daughter, Tina White Burnett (J.R.); grandchildren: Joshua V. White (Brittany), Heather L. Burnett, Shayna F. Swann (Brandon); three great-grandchildren; one sister, Ila Imogene Holt; one brother, Bobby Dale White; one daughter-in-law, Kathy S. White, and many extended family and friends. Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 8th from 12:00pm until 2:00pm at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral will also be held on Saturday at 2:00PM at Jefferson memorial Chapel. Burial will immediately follow at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Pastor Chipley Thornton is officiating. Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home in Trussville is directing.
