Carlene Green

Carlene Alexander Green, loving wife and mother went home to be with the Lord on February 12, 2009. Carlene was a member of Springville Road Community Church and was an active church volunteer throughout her life serving in women's ministry and teaching Sunday School. She was also a volunteer counselor at Sav-a-Life and involved in Bible Study Fellowship for many years. She is survived by her husband and caregiver, Don Green; daughters Sharon Green and Nancy Newman (Jon) and granddaughter Carley Amanda Newman. Visitation will be held on Saturday, February 14 beginning at 1PM with Chapel services at 2PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Lifeline Adoption Services. Jefferson Memorial Trussville directing.
