C. Stanfield

Clyde Alan Stanfield, born February 14, 1941, in Birmingham, AL to Clyde W. and Helen G. Stanfield. Deceased May 24, 2014. Preceded in death by his parents, an aunt, Ethelyn Gartman, an uncle Donald Oscar Gartman, and a niece, Sarah Helen Stanfield. Survived by his wife of 50 years, Barbara Hewitt Stanfield, a daughter, Suzanne Stanfield Farmer (John), a son, Brian Alan Stanfield, three grandchildren, Selah Elizabeth, Levi Alan, and Clyde Tucker Stanfield. A brother, Gary Wayne Stanfield (Laura), a sister-in-law, Lisa Hewitt Self (John), a brother-in-law, Raymond M. Hewitt (Anne) and seven nephews. Retired from Vulcan Materials Company as Sales Manager after 33 years of service; educated at Auburn University (BSBA), 1963. Attended The Church at Brook Hills where he was a member of a small group and enjoyed mission trips ministering to orphans in Ukraine. Service is at The Church of Brook Hills, 3145 Brook Highland Parkway, Birmingham AL 35242, Tuesday, May 27. Visitation is from 12pm until 2pm, services to follow. In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to The Church at Brook Hills, for global missions, in memory of Alan Stanfield.
