Bruce Vaughn

VAUGHN, BRUCE HOWARD, SR., 75, of Birmingham, formerly of Rex, GA, passed away on October 7, 2010 after a long battle with Alzheimer's. He was a member of Northpark Baptist Church and had retired from Estes Express in 2000. He was preceded in death by his mother, Estelle Vaughn; brother, Houston Vaughn and a sister, Alice Sorrell. Survivors include his loving wife of 25 years, Elaine Brown Vaughn; three sons, Bruce Vaughn, Jr. (Holley), Barry Vaughn and Bo Vaughn (Joyce); step-children, Diane Feltman (Stanley) and David Brown; siblings, Dorothy Murray, Curtis Vaughn (Jo Ann), Mary Ellen See (Marty) and Norma Ritch; sister-in-law, Jo Ann Vaughn; grandchildren, Brandy Davis (Patrick), Erica Vaughn, Nick Vaughn and Noah Vaughn; step-grandchildren, Heather Saunier (Joseph), Dr. Tiffany Feltman, Whitney Brown and Jason Feltman; great-grandchildren, Matthew and Madison Davis; step-great-grandchild, Laney Saunier and numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends. The family would like to give special thanks to his caregivers Sarah Foster and Patricia Watson. Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 10, from 5:00 - 7:00 PM at Jefferson Memorial Funeral Home. Chapel Services will be Monday, October 11 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Russ Goodwin officiating and burial to follow in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East.
