Bruce Talley

Bruce "Buddy" L. Talley Jr., 59, passed away February 18 after a long and courageous battle with cancer. He was born in Chattanooga, TN and grew up in Tarrant City, AL. He graduated from Tarrant High School and attended the University of Alabama. Buddy had lived in Springville, AL for the past 17 years and was employed at Motion Industries for the past 32 years. Predeceased by his father and mother, Rev. Bruce L. and Virgie Talley Sr. He is survived by his wife of 21 years Debbie Mims Talley, children Bruce L. Talley III, Brandy (Richard) Price, stepchildren Connie (Rodney) Richardson, Jay (Renae) McCullough. Buddy has 8 grandchildren, Tanner Talley, Logan and Luke Price, Katelynn, Savannah and Nickolas Richardson, Austin and Anna Grace McCullough. He is survived by 3 sisters, Eva (Charles) Garrett, Betty Corcoran and the late Al Corcoran, Kathryn (Jerry) Branham, mother in law, Gayle Mims and father in law the late James Mims, sister in law Donna (Dick) Gardner. He had one niece and 7 nephews, numerous great nieces and nephews. Buddy had 2 very special and devoted friends, Rudy Johnson and Elaine Nelson Hill. Family request that donations be made to the Bruno Cancer Center or a charity of your choice. Services will be Monday Feb 22, at 12pm in the Chapel with burial in Jefferson Memorial Gardens East. Visitation will be from 5pm until 7pm Sunday.
